ABHA — The drama, produced and directed by Azmi cells, produced a laughable scene that begs belief and deserves only ridicule.

The Azmi cells are purportedly named after Dr. Azmi Bshara, a Palestinian intellectual who is reportedly managing the Qatari propaganda.

The latest effort just exposed the lies and deceit being practiced by the Qatari government. The newest video clip, which showed a man handcuffed and tied up being beaten up and insulted by another, aroused widespread scorn and ridicule on the social media.

This scornful reaction came after Qatari bloggers claimed that the video is proof of the assault of a Qatari pilgrim in Saudi Arabia.

The video clip shows a quarrel between the handcuffed man and the masked man, who hurls a series of insults at the other. The video clip portrayed the victim as a Qatari citizen defending the Doha leadership before the masked man who insulted the Doha leadership.

The video, taken by a third person with a camera phone which went viral, ends with the scene of the masked man beating up the handcuffed man, who was shown sitting in a desert area.

The abducted man was none other than the Qatari pilgrim “Hamad Al-Marri”, who appeared on a video clip during the Haj thanking the Kingdom for its services to the Guests of Allah, including those provided to the pilgrims from Qatar.

The video clip, which went viral, was very pathetic. This was confirmed by many bloggers on the social media.

Meanwhile, others accused the Qatari Intelligence of fabricating the video clip with the aim of harming Saudi Arabia in the hashtag (الاعتداء_على_حاج_قطري#) “Qatari pilgrim being assaulted” on Twitter.

One of the Twitteratis proved with cogent proofs that the video clip is nothing more than a theatrical scene that is fraught with many contradictions.

The most prominent of which is that the kidnapped man appears to be in a state of horror and is sweating profusely when speaking and reacting to his assaulter because the situation does not allow any courageous move.

Furthermore, the kidnapped man’s clothes show signs of a struggle and resistance.

According to the video clip, the assaulter should have been fluent in the Saudi dialect, but he uttered the word “Shnu”, which is not Saudi. Even the accent was not Saudi.

Many viewers recognized the kidnapped man as the very person who was interviewed by a Saudi TV channel during the Haj. When he appeared on TV he was praising the Kingdom for the services it provided to the pilgrims during Haj.

It is not strange that the Qatari authorities have a different stance towards this Qatari pilgrim.

The kidnapped man’s brother “Jaber Al Kahlah Al-Marri” accused the Qatari government of abducting his brother after he crossed Abu Samra border post to Qatar.

He demanded that his brother be released because performing Haj and praising the services provided by the Saudi authorities and also the hosting of the Qatari pilgrims are not a crime.

Al-Marri holds the Qatari government responsible for his brother’s safety. He blames it for preventing his brother from contacting his family.
