RIYADH — An official source in the Coalition Command said on Thursday that Houthi militias fired three Katyusha missiles from across the Yemeni border, damaging a school and houses in a border village. No one was hurt in the attacks.

According to the source, the missiles struck the mountain village of Al-Jabaniyah in Al-Aridah in the southern Jazan region at around 10.20 a.m.

One of the projectiles fell on an elementary school while the other two hit a residential area, causing some damages but no deaths or injuries.

The source confirmed that the missiles were launched by Houthi militias from the Yemeni territory. He said these attacks represented a flagrant violation of the international law that forbids targeting civilians. — SPA
