LOCATED on the 1st floor of Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya, Azure restaurant delivers exceptional culinary experiences. Offering both dinner and lunch, the restaurant is now presenting a special business set menu during lunch, featuring dishes that are a blend of Greek and Turkish cuisines, reflecting the gastronomic heritage of the two countries. Prepared with authentic ingredients sourced both locally and internationally, Azure’s exquisite fare showcases an array of fine flavors that illustrate the rich, multifaceted cultures of the Aegean Sea.

Recently, Azure won the “Best Luxury Family Restaurant in the Middle East” award at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards, which promotes culinary excellence and nominates five-star restaurants around the world based on their overall experience offered to guests. Since opening its doors in February 2017, the luxurious Azure has been offering distinctive culinary experiences that go beyond delicious cuisine.

Overlooking Olaya Street, Azure seeks to replicate and represent the dynamic style of an authentically Aegean family restaurant and kitchen with live action, great food and an electric atmosphere – just as one might find on a Greek or Turkish island. The restaurant’s open kitchen and wood-burning stove is surrounded by tables for up to 150 guests, with semi-private dining areas providing superb views of downtown Olaya. Designed by the renowned ONG&ONG of Singapore, the restaurant features artwork on its walls that displays an impressive attention to detail and style.

At its heart, Azure’s gastronomic mission reflects tastes and styles inspired by Aegean cuisine, fused with a variety of flavors and cultural traditions. On any given day, diners can savor mixed platters of grilled squid, rock lobster and tiger prawns, or duck, chicken, beef tenderloin, lamb, kebabs and quail. The restaurant’s specials include lamb-pistachio kofte with spinach tzatziki; chargrilled fish fillets; and desserts such as baklava and Turkish cotton candy. More importantly, this signature restaurant is a first for Riyadh, with a Greek maestro, Executive Chef Konstantinos Arampatzis, orchestrating the entire gastronomic experience. — SG
