Crown Prince donates SR5m for Hail charities

RIYADH — Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, has donated SR5 million from his own account to charitable societies in Hail region.

This was in supplement to the support being provided to charitable societies within the Project of Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for supporting charitable societies in all regions of the Kingdom. A total of 4,152 Saudi men and women in Hail region will be the beneficiaries of the money to be disbursed through three charitable societies.

The beneficiaries include orphans, young men and women getting married, and people with special needs, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.

As of this week, a total of SR81 million has been allocated from the Crown Prince’s charitable support project in six regions of the Kingdom. There were 11,680 beneficiaries from an amount of SR 23 million distributed in Riyadh region, in addition to more than 41,000 beneficiaries in the Eastern Province with an amount of SR16 million and 14,914 beneficiaries in Makkah region with an amount of SR15 million. A total of SR16 million was allocated for the Qassim region.
