EMAAR Middle East, a business subsidiary of global property developer Emaar Properties PJSC, has commenced the handover of Saudi Arabia’s first five-star serviced apartments in Emaar Residences at Makkah Clock Tower. Located directly on the Haram Plaza, the elegantly designed and superbly serviced apartments offer breath-taking views of the Holy Kaaba, Haram, and the Holy City of Makkah.

The luxurious Emaar Residences at Makkah Clock Tower are located on levels 30 to 41 of the iconic Makkah Clock Tower, a Fairmont Hotel, which is a focal point of the Abraj Al Bait complex and part of the King AbdulAziz Endowment of the Two Holy Mosques.

One of the world’s tallest hotel towers, the 601 meter high tower is also distinguished by the majestic landmark, the 40-metre (130 ft) Clock, visible from 17 km, announcing daily prayers, and a Lunar Observation Center and Islamic Museum that aims to preserve the Muslim heritage for future generations.

Designed to Emaar’s world-class standards, the serviced apartments have a dedicated spacious lobby for residents, offering them direct access to their homes as well as to a modern shopping mall, and which directly leads to the Haram. The lobby is specially designed for the convenience of Emaar’s residents and has dedicated areas for prayers offering direct views of the Holy Kaaba and Haram.

There are only 316 serviced apartments in Emaar Residences at Makkah Clock Tower, all of them spacious and with the highest level of finishes reflecting Emaar’s quality standards. They are aesthetically designed with advanced lifestyle amenities, and with direct access to the Haram. The apartments are serviced by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, adding to the convenience of the residents who also benefit from easy access to the diverse facilities offered by the hotel.

With handover commencing, visitors to Makkah can also rent the serviced apartments through Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. A limited number of serviced apartments in Emaar Residences at Makkah Clock Tower are available for sale for potential investors. These apartments are being sold for a 23-year leasehold ownership with the additional opportunity for the customers to enter them on a rental pool to be managed by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.

Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director, Emaar Properties, said: “It gives us tremendous pride to commence the handover of homes in Emaar Residences at Makkah Clock Tower during the Holy Month of Ramadan. These 5-star serviced apartments – a first of its kind in the Kingdom - are designed to provide an inspiring experience for residents, who visit or stay in the Holy City of Makkah.”

Eng.
