MADINAH — Madinah Eagles started off well in the Madinah Cricket League, SCC T20 Cup clash by posting a healthy 178. Bilal scored 66 runs off 45 deliveries and Mudassir 30. Ali Sikander grabbed 4 for 24 runs and Mohammad Asif took 2 for 33. In reply, Pak United chased down the total with Iqbal Bali hitting 59 runs and Abbas Nadwi blasting 50 off 18 balls. Mohammad Asif also scored 47 off 18 in the 7 wickets win. Hashim, Dawood and Usman took a wicket each.

In second match, MBC Star posted 172 with Jabir scoring 44 followed by Sohail 26. Mohammad Younus took five wickets and Taha Amanat took 3 wickets. In reply, MCH’s Asif Sagar scored a magnificent unbeaten century and Mohammad Younus scored 48 off 25 deliveries as MCH won with 8 wickets. Bappi and Mansoor took a wicket each.

Madinah Strikers tallied 161 against UCC with Pervaiz topscoring with 41 and being supported by Javed (21). Umair and Shehbaz took 2 wickets each. UCC were helped by Imran and Naveed who scored 60 and 53 respectively after a poor start. Jaylath, Waseem, Sohail and Moin all took a wicket each as UCC won the match by 6 wickets.

Pak Punjab, with wickets falling regularly, managed 125. Tauseef scored a fifty and Faisal scored 23 runs. Baber took 3 wickets followed by Qaiser and Rizwan who took 2 wickets each. In reply, Awali Kings won by 7 wickets with Tariq scoring 46 and Arshad hitting 36. Naim, Faisal and Aftab took a wicket each.
