MADINAH — Iqbal Bali, Omer Suhail and Rafiq shine in SCC T20 Cup in the Madinah Cricket League tournament.

In a battle of Eagles, Madinah Eagles got the better of MCH Eagles by 5 wickets. MCH Eagles posted a mediocre total of 142/9 in their 20 overs. Zohaib scored 28 and Abdullah 27 as Usman took 3 wickets alongside Daud and Hashim who took 2 each. In reply, Sadakat hit a brilliant 43 n.o. and Hashim 33 runs in their side’s win. Nadeem took 3 wickets.

Kings registered an 8-wicket victory over Topstar for whom Fareed scored 25 (10 balls) and Abdul Ghaffar hit 38 runs in their mere 120 runs. Kashif took 4 wickets and Baber 2 wickets. Faisal scored a brisk 59 (8 4s) and Bilal 28 (16 balls) as Kings raced to victory. Abdul Mannan and Adil took a wicket each.

Muzammil XI stormed past Madinah Strikers by 9 wickets and into the knockout stage. Javed cracked 40 for the Strikers as they totaled 140 runs. Mazhar and Barkat took 2 wickets each. In reply, Omer Sohail smashed 85 not out and Barkat and Javed hit 22 and 19 runs respectively in Muzammil XI win. The solitary wicket was taken by Waseem.

Al Hateem tallied 178/6 against Evergreen with Hammad Saeed scoring 44 and Ibrar 36. Arslan Mushtaq scored a quickfire 30 (15 balls). Ishaq took 3 wickets and Rafiq 2. In reply, Evergreen recovered from 72/5 to win by 3 wickets. Rafiq scored a blistering 50, Ishaq 21 and then Khalid smacked 33 not out in the victory. Hammad Saeed and Mudassir took 2 wickets each.

Wajih smashed his second hundred in 3 matches as Asdaf tallied 172 against Pak United. He was supported by Waqas 23 but their efforts ended up in a losing cause. Ahmad and Ajmal took 3 wickets each. In reply, Pak United’s Iqbal Bali scored a scintillating hundred off 55 deliveries and supported by Bilal Khan 21. Sajjad and Waqas took a wicket each as Pak United won by 8 wickets.
