220 dignitaries arriving for Umrah as King’s guests

Riyadh — Some 220 Muslim dignitaries will arrive in Madinah on Wednesday heralding the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Umrah this year.

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, General Supervisor of the Guests Program for Umrah Sheikh Saleh Al Alsheikh the program has hosted 2,220 Muslim dignitaries since the Guests Umrah Program started three years ago.

He said the program helps enhance communication among Muslims in the Islamic world.

Meanwhile, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman will patronize on Monday the honoring ceremony for the winners of King Khalid Prize for 2017.

Prince Faisal Bin Khalid, Emir of Asir region and Chairman of King Khalid Prize Commission, has expressed on behalf of the Board of Trustees of King Khalid Foundation its thanks and appreciation to the King for his patronage of this ceremony. — SPA
