King Salman telephones President Putin

RIYADH – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman telephoned Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the telephone conversation, President Putin expressed his country's condemnation of attempts by the Houthi militias to attack Riyadh using ballistic missiles and Moscow's outright rejection of any threats to the Kingdom's security.

The two leaders also discussed the humanitarian relief efforts for the sake of the Yemeni people with the objective of alleviating their sufferings in the difficult circumstances their country is going through. – SPA
