Jamoom Fighters, CH XI, Butt Sports, Saudi Oil prevail

JEDDAH — Jamoom Fighters and CH XI recorded 31-run and 1 wicket victories against Makkah Kings and Kashmir Stags A, respectively in the 4th week of the Kanoo Premier League, sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).

Butt Sports and Saudi Oil continued their onward march scoring wins by 30 runs and 7 wickets over Makkah Rising Star and Al-Burj, respectively. Highlight of the week was a brilliant 128 off 48 balls studded with 15 fours and 5 sixes by Mansoor of Butt Sports.

Jamoom Fighters beat Makkah Kings by 31 runs.

Jamoom Fighters 180-6 in 20 overs — Bilal 89 (46 balls 12 fours 2 sixes), Majeed 33; Umer 2-22, Furqan 2-33. Makkah Kings 149 all out — Furqan 52 (7 fours 1 six), Irfan 33; Azam 3-22, Mohammed Amir 2-27 Bilal 2-33.

Butt Sports defeated Makkah Rising Star by 30 runs.

Butt Sports 240-3 — Mansoor 128 (48 ball 15 fours, 5 sixes), Omer 78 (32 balls 4 fours 6 sixes). Makkah Rising Stars 210-6 — Zeeshan 45 (19 balls 3 fours 4 sixes), Afzal 35, Paigam 35; Tauseef 2 —30.

CH XI downed Kashmir Stags A by 1 wicket.

Kashmir Stags A 178-8 — Khursheed 63 (31 balls 6 fours 4 sixes), Mushtaq 40 not out; Rizwan 4-32, Waleed 2-22. CH XI 180-9 in 18.4 overs — Sajjad 34, Shafaqat 28, Rizwan 26 not out; Idrees 2-21, Amir 2-40.

Saudi Oil routed Al-Burj by 7 wickets.

Al-Burj 136-9 — Ishaq 43, Bilal 28; Imran 3-24. Saudi Oil 140-3 in 11.2 overs — Mohsin 50 (26 balls 9 fours 1 six), Salman 37, Nadeem 25.

Third week matches

Al-Burj and Makkah Rising Stars scored massive 112 runs and 9-wicket wins over CH XI and Kashmir Stags A, respectively. Butt Sports and Saudi Oil romped home by 5 and 3 wickets against Jamoom Fighters and Royal Brothers, respectively.
