JEDDAH — Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors Company, the authorized dealer for Jaguar Land Rover cars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has announced that it will be hosting Jaguar’s globally renowned ‘The Art of Performance Tour — Season 2’ in December 2017 in the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah. The global event allows Jaguar owners and brand enthusiasts, as well as media personnel and social media influencers, to experience Jaguar’s latest models through a set of unique and dynamic challenges and activities.
Guests to the event will be able to get behind the wheel, and put their driving skills to the test under the guidance of Jaguar’s professional driving instructors, as they drive through Jaguar’s Smart Cones Challenge, as well as enjoy a series of other driving events and competitions.
The Smart Cones Challenge is an innovative system that creates an exhilarating driving activity with precision performance measurement and output traces for participants. This supports low-speed competitive activities as it measures accuracy as well as time. The routes around the course are randomly generated by the system to ensure competitors cannot learn the route. Each route, however, will have the same overall distance to ensure fair competition.
Another challenge is the Timed Dynamic Handling Course, which features a series of linked exercises that include cornering, slalom, acceleration and braking activities. Guests will get to understand Jaguar’s vehicle dynamics and how their own behavior behind the steering wheel and on the pedals affect the vehicle’s handling. This exercise is about precision and accuracy.
The guests will also get a chance to experience various Jaguar models during the different handling course, including four timed challenges and another four events, to every series of the available Jaguar cars, including the F-TYPE, F-PACE, XJ, XF, XE.
The event will include strategic challenges for adults and children, as well as a number of additional Jaguar showcases, such as Jaguar’s latest range from its 2017-2018 lifestyle collection, tour display wall, featuring the countries covered by the tour, and a digital experience wall that will showcase live scores and rankings from the day’s competitions. The visitors will get the chance to get close and personal and have access to first-hand information from the sales team on entire Jaguar line-up.
The second season of this exclusive tour has already been successfully launched in 50 countries worldwide and delivered close to 120,000 guest experiences.
