RIYADH — Makik Fahad (5 wickwts and 106 runs) and Obaidullah (149 runs and 2 wickets) excelled in Week 7 of the SAIB Cup Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Arabian Investment Bank (SAIB).

In Al-Kharj League 40-over Tournament, Lahore Badshah thrashed Pak Shaheen by 8 wickets, thanks to a wonderful all-round performance by Malik Fahad. Pak Shaheen was restricted to 240. Abdul Waheed continued his dream run and scored 145 off 80 balls. Faisal added 38. Malik Fahad was the pick of the bowlers and took 5 for 8. Ali Shahid bagged 2 wickets. Lahore Badshah got to the target in 31 overs. Malik Fahad remained unbeaten on 106 from 87 balls. Mudassar added 64 and Yassir 41.

Amer Holidays beat Pakistan Falcons by 54 runs. Amer Holidays, batting first, posted 290. Shams uz Zaman hit 125 off 70 balls. Saud added 54 and Danish 34. Faisal took 3 wickets and Mubashir 2. Pakistan Falcons managed 236 in reply. Asim made 54 and Arif 49. Saeed picked up 3 wickets, while Sajid and Saud took 2 wickets each.

Sama Steel defeated Fuchs Lions by 81 runs. Sama Steel, batting first, recorded a huge total of 380. Raja Ejaz scored 87, Usman Khalid 69 and Ramzan Butt 46. Arif claimed 3 wickets and Obaidullah 2. Fuchs Lions were all out for 299. Obaidullah scored 149 from 82 balls. Kamran Hadi picked up 4 wickets and Awais 3.

In Hayer League T20 Tournament, Rising Star CC downed Kashmir XI by 8 wickets. Kashmir XI tallied 150-8. Sabzar scored 36. Omar Pervaiz grabbed 4 wickets and Waseem 2. Rising Stars CC won the match in 15.4 overs as Waseem hit 60 and Omar Pervaiz 54.

Swat Tigers CC defeated TBCC by 35 runs. Swat Tigers posted 208-5. Riaz added 57 and Israr 46. Asif picked up 3 wickets. TBCC managed 173-8. Hakeem Libas remained unbeaten on 61. Sardar Ali got 3 wickets.

Sinmar CC beat Sterling and Wilson Challengers XI by 67 runs. Sinmar CC posted 220-6. Riyas Chukkan held the innings together and remained unbeaten on 118 off 66 balls. Imthiyas Banglath added 40. Fazil and Ashraf took 2 wickets each. Challengers XI managed 153-7. Haroon Rasheed scored 62. Shamiludding Chipat picked up 3 wickets and Sainal Abideen 2.

Tigers CC downed Riyadh Fighters by 7 wickets. Riyadh Fighters scored 173-9. Nusrat added 39 and Imran Butt 34. Shakeel took 3 wickets and Azhar 2. Tigers CC won the match in 15.1 overs. Sailesh scored 96 and Shahzad 51. Amir picked up 2 wickets.

Green Bangla CC thrashed Talented CC by 8 wickets. Talented CC was bundled out for 71. Abu Musa was the wrecker-in-chief with 5 for 9. Anwer and Abdulghani took 2 wickets each. Green Bangla raced to the target in 6.4 overs. Zakir grabbed 3 wickets.
