Transport Ministry has 75% women at new call center

RIYADH
— Minister of Transport Nabil Al-Amoudi recently launched a new call center at ministry's headquarters in Riyadh.

The ceremony was attended by the head of the Public Transport Authority Rimaih Al-Rimaih and Deputy Minister of Road Transports Majed Al-Arqoubi. The call center’s number is 938 and it will work round the clock.

Ministry of Transport's Marketing and Administrative Telecommunication General Supervisor Turki Al-Tuaimi gave the guests a tour of the center. Rami Al-Najjar gave a presentation highlighting what distinguishes the center and its new system from the previous system.

Samir Abdulrahim, general director of the center, said it will be complaints complaints and reports, which will dealt with based on their urgency. People will be able to report any violations through other electronic channels as well such as the ministry’s website. The employees operating the center are all trained Saudis, 75 percent of them women.
