RIYADH – Coalition forces have achieved military successes in Yemen with the killing of many Houthi leaders, Spokesman of the Coalition forces in support of legitimacy in Yemen Col. Turki Al-Malki said here on Wednesday.

During a weekly press conference held at the headquarters of King Salman Air Force Base in Riyadh in the presence of a number of military commanders in the Coalition forces, he said that the Coalition forces are dealing with legitimate military targets.

Col. Al-Malki said that possession of advanced weapons by Houthi terrorist militias poses a threat to international, regional and Yemeni security.

He stressed that humanitarian work is being carried out around the clock by Coalition forces themselves or through the permits being granted by relief agencies.

He reiterated the Coalition's commitment to provide all necessary assistance to the Yemeni people.

In a warning to Houthi militias, Al-Malki said that they have only two options: peace or war.

For peace Houthi militias must hand over power to legitimacy and commit to international laws and decisions taken in favor of Yemen.
