Saudi ambassador to Yemen: Iran provided Houthis with ballistic missiles

CAIRO – Houthis targeted Riyadh after pieces of a ballistic missile sent to the coup militias by Iran through Hodeidah port were assembled by Hezbollah and Iranian experts, said Saudi ambassador to Yemen Muhammad Bin Said Aal Jaber.

Jaber was addressing a joint press conference with Arab Parliament Speaker Dr. Mishaal Al-Sulami in Cairo on Wednesday following a meeting of Arab Parliament and representatives of Arab countries to the Arab League.

Jaber said that the Houthis signed more than 80 agreements but they reneged on all of them. Houthis rejected all political solutions and moved under Iranian guidance.

The Kingdom’s ambassador to Yemen said that the Arab Coalition managed to expel the Houthis from Aden and now they are on the outskirts of Sanaa, and Coalition have achieved successes.

Speaker of Arab Parliament Dr. Mishaal Al-Sulami, said: "The Parliament will draw up a plan to address the Iranian interference in Yemen." — SPA
