WITHIN its community participations, Gloria participated in an initiative to clean up the UAE being involved in the "Day of Afforestation" initiative in Fujairah and the popular project "Recycling, Planting, Refining 2017" in partnership with the Emirates Environmental Working Group. At the end of the campaign in Fujairah the members and volunteers were able to collect the quantities of waste required in the initiative "a tree in the community is roots that unite us”, enabling them to plant a tree bearing their names.

The initiative witnessed the winners of the planting of 600 original trees of Sidr, Al-Ghaf and Al-Naim bearing their names in a festive atmosphere and a wide participation of the members of the group, volunteers and partners who played a major role in the success of the campaign, as well as the effort they made to increase the green spaces, so the group rewards them with this unique merit which will be a witness for their commitment and contribution to reducing the impacts of climate change.

Gloria has participated in several initiatives and has collected 4 tons of aluminum cans over the last three years and participated in the initiative, which has reached the number of cultivation of more than 2,093,927 original trees throughout the UAE.
