RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s population reached 32,552,336 in 2017, according to the General Authority for Statistics (GaStat).

The population was 31,742,308 in 2016.

GaStat said the annual average growth rate is 2.52 percent.

According to GaStat, the population consisted of 57.48 percent males and 42.52 percent females.

The survey did not give the number of expatriates in the Kingdom.
