RIYADH — Sources close to Saudi actor and comedian Nasser Al-Qasabi confirmed that Al-Qasabi will not be filming a new TV series in Kuwait with Kuwaiti actor Tariq Al-Ali as several rumors on social networking websites had claimed.

The sources also slammed rumors that the Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC) had exerted pressure on Al-Qasabi to film the new project to make up for his absence during the holy month of Ramadan. — SG
