DAMMAM — The Eastern Province Cricket Association tournament played under the banner of 40-40 Main League, Sponsored by AL TURKI witnessed some keen matches in 3rd week.

In Premier Division, Honda CC outplayed Al Falah C.C. Honda posted 353 in 40 overs, following a brilliant partnership of 254 runs between Imran Arif (163 off 86) and Afaq Ahmad (118 off 99), Raheel Shams grabbed 5 wickets. Al Falah made 239 as Athar Ali claimed 3 wickets, Kashif Abbas and Zain Awan grabbed 2 wickets each.

SKFCC defeated Marooj Rawan, which posted 312. Waheed Malik played good innings of 96, Imran Talib grabbed 3 wickets. SKFCC chased the target in 36.4 overs, Asif Mughal scored 128 off 110 balls. Asif grabbed 3 wickets.

PSS Kashmir United defeated FMS Khan XI by 5 wickets. FMS KHAN XI managed 207 in 40 overs with Shoaib compiling 81 runs and Faheem Afrad grabbing 5 wickets. PSS KU won in 33 overs, with Waqas Bhatti cracking 75 and Farrukh Hanif smashing 84. Ramesh and Iliyas grabbed 2 wickets each.

Nawab Intelligent Tiger outplayed Al Naimi CC. NIT posted 236 in 40 overs boosted by a well compiled 86 from Mohsin. Naeem Gani claimed 3 wickets. Al Naimi were then bundled out for 219. Umair 54 as Rehan grabbed 4 wickets.

In Prime Division, Emerald Ashes CC defeated On Dot Freight, Ashes, which posted 229 in 40 overs. Feroz made 47 and Shanavas 40 as Ibrahim and Pervez grabbed 3 wickets each. ODF were bundled out for 167 with Abhin grabbing 4 wickets.

Eastern Arabia KLV Al Khodari defeated Team SSQ Bin Delamah, which totaled 258. Mehran Shah cracked 52 and Muzaiher grabbed 4 wickets. EA chased the target in 37.4 overs with Niyaz and Naushad hitting fifties and Tanveer grabbing 3 wickets.

AAC CC outplayed Team Arabia, which managed 256 following a brilliant century from Nafsal. Shafath grabbed 4 wickets. AAC chased the target in 31 overs with Obaid Ali (67*) outstanding. Viral grabbed 2 wickets.

In First Division, Gladiators CC outplayed Britam Gulf CC by 89 runs. Gladiators posted 229/9 in 40 overs. Nayab grabbed 4 wickets. Britam Gulf were skittled for 140. Iqbal Ali grabbed 3 wickets, Nabeel, Shahzada and Shabbir claimed 2 wickets each.

Intelligent Hawks defeated BNS List by 152 runs. IHCC posted 245 with Ali Raza blasting 93 runs and Azeem taking 3 wickets. BNS were bundled out for 93 runs with Saleem Dar taking a 6-wicket haul.

Jana Marine Young Guns defeated Hyderabad Greens by 6 wickets. HG posted 267 with Tahir scoring 95 and Afzal making 67. Shoaib grabbed 3 wickets while Shan Bahadur, Naeem and Zayyad claimed 2 wickets each. JMYG won in 36 overs with Bilal Ahmad smashing 88 not out and Arsalan scoring 67 off 49 deliveries.
