KTT to launch women’s wing, new chapters to be constituted

HYDERABAD, India — Khak-e-Taiba Trust (KTT), a charity organization, recently held an extraordinary meeting here under the chairmanship of Mr. Syed Azmatullah, a retired IAS officer and in the presence of Managing Trustee Adv. Ghulam Yazdani. Trustees Dr. Mohammed Haseebullah, Minhaj-ul-Hassan, Azeem Qureshi, Mr. Sadiq Ali and others were also present.

During the meeting, the board unanimously took the decision to formally launch a “Ladies-Wing” with the intention to have an in-depth study issues related to empowering of women of the underprivileged section and to bring them to the mainstream of the society.

The board also announced in its sitting that it will open new chapters in the impoverished areas of Hyderabad. With Falaknuma and Vaddepally on the priority list and later spread its wings to Mahboobnagar and Nizambad districts of the Telangana state.

One more landmark decision was taken in respect of formation of much awaited Hyderabad-based managing committee with well-known personalities and think tanks. The new committee shall work under the main body and will meet every month. Logistics support to the on-going KTT projects will be its prime focus.
