AL Nahdi Medical Company, the largest pharmaceutical chain in the Middle and North Africa, announced that the group of pharmacies has now further expanded its healthcare services across the Kingdom by accepting insurance policy holders to receive their prescribed medication from any NMC pharmacies.



This long-awaited service and the first of its kind in the Kingdom, will service a wide majority of customers that need not have to queue outside hospital and clinic pharmacies to receive their prescribed medicines, can visit their nearest Nahdi pharmacy to claim their medication in the shortest time and with the least hassle.

Among the finest insurance policy providers in the Kingdom, NMC has partnered with Bupa Arabia; Tawuniya (selected firms); CARS, MEDNET; Total Care Saudi; Saudi Electricity Company (West & Southern province employees) and the Islamic Development Bank, with other providers under discussion to partner with the company.



Any insurance cardholder of the above mentioned providers can visit the neared Nahdi pharmacy with the prescription from the hospital/clinic to receive the medication –all under the terms of each specific insurance policy provider. Most of the providers require clients to fill an online order to receive an SMS approval to proceed to receiving their medication to ease the time of approvals at the pharmacy. — SG
