BARCELONA — During the Mobile World Congress 2018 Huawei did not launch a new smartphone, yet it unveiled wide screen devices — the Huawei MateBook X Pro and Huawei MediaPad M5 Series.
They were launched on Feb. 25 at an exclusive launch event at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona.
Huawei MateBook X Pro is full-featured 13.9-inch notebook with an all-new 3K touch-enabled Huawei.
What makes Huawei MateBook X Pro sports special is not only that it has a wider screen with FullView Display and 91 percent screen-to-body ratio, but also its camera. The camera is located in the keyboard and it can be hidden. This would give the user more privacy.
During the launch, it was mentioned that one of the special features of the device is the speakers. It had four speakers with Dolby Atmos Sound System and custom speakers.
The company focused also on the quality of the microphone and now by owning this new notebook you would do office conferences and video conferences very effectively.
The battery of the device considered being a long-lasting 57.4Wh( typical capacity) battery. The device will be in the Saudi market soon.
The Huawei Mediapad M5 Series that was unveiled during the event would be the best choice for artists and designers. It is the first 2.5 D glass seen on tablet. It has 4GB RAM while the consumer can pick between 32,64, 128 GB for the device storage.
These series are Huawei Mediapad M5 8.4, Huawei Mediapad M5 10.8, Huawei Mediapad M5 Pro. You can have the champagne gold or the grey color from the device.
The powerful 8.4-inch and 10.8-inch tablets feature speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. They come with two cameras 13 megapixels for the rear camera while the front camera is 8 megapixels.
Huawei Histen technology provides immersive 3D audio and fully supports Hi-Res audio for exceptional sound quality.
The 10.8-inch Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro comes with M-Pen stylus and it has 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
