IIROSA chief participates in Riyadh humanitarian forum

RIYADH
— The International Islamic Relief Organization, Saudi Arabia (IIROSA), which is the humanitarian arm of the Muslim World League, participated in the international humanitarian forum in Riyadh on Tuesday.

The forum was inaugurated by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and attended by more than 1,000 delegates and representatives from over 60 national and international humanitarian organizations.

On the sidelines of the forum, Hassan Darweesh Shahbar, secretary-general of IIROSA, met representatives of different international organizations, exchanged ideas and discussed topics of mutual interest.

He also discussed issues related to future plans and partnerships in the field of international humanitarian work.

During the forum, Shabhar explained to the representatives of NGOs the humanitarian relief efforts carried out under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Abdulkarim Al-Issa, secretary-general of MWL.

“IIROSA is always ready to join hands with all organizations and countries with the aim of helping the poor and the needy as well as to alleviate their suffering.”
