CAIRO – Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi oversaw the signing of four agreements between the Kingdom and Egypt here on Sunday night.
These include an amended agreement for the establishment of a Saudi-Egyptian Investment Fund, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to activate the Saudi-Egyptian Investment Fund, an executive program for joint cooperation to encourage investment between the General Authority for Investment and Duty Free Zones in Egypt and the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in Saudi Arabia, and a cooperation agreement for environmental protection and curbing pollution.
Earlier, Crown Prince Muhammad held talks with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to President El-Sisi, while the president sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The two sides reviewed the strategic bilateral relations and means of developing them in various fields.
They also discussed a number of issues on the Arab and Islamic arenas, developments in the Middle East, especially issues related to security and stability in the region, fighting terrorism, the challenges facing Arab countries.
