40 Indian firms showcase wares in Big 5

THE 'India Pavilion' organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Big 5 Saudi Exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Mohd. Nurul Hassan, Consul (Commerce), Consulate General of India, Jeddah.

Mir Gazanfar Ali Zaki, general secretary-SIBN, CA Vijay Soni-treasurer, Syed Viqar Ahmed, event management, and Amjad Sharif, MRA, consulate commercial section were present.

Saudi Indian Business Network (SIBN) works for promotion of trade and investment between India and Saudi Arabia and works under the patronage of CGI, Jeddah.

CII had 40 leading companies from India participating in 'India Pavilion'. These Indian companies are majorly the manufacturers of construction equipment, water evacuation and industrial pumps, drainage systems in buildings, laminates for wooden structures, paints and coatings, metal handicrafts, self-loaders, batching plants, material elevators, hardware and hinges, CNC machines, machine tool accessories etc.

The Big 5 Saudi has become one of the most important construction events for the region and the industry as a whole; a vital meeting place for construction professionals from across the Kingdom and wider Middle East. — SG
