RIYADH — A lake in the middle of the Zulfi desert captured the hearts and minds of visitors following the recent rainfall, which once again filled it with water.

Surrounded by red sands, Lake Al-Kasr gives the place a magical charm, attracting travelers and adventurers, Al-Hayat newspaper reported.

The lake is located on the edge of Rawdaht Al-Sabla in the northeast of Zulfi governorate. It is the preferred destination for many people who go camping in an expanse of 8 square kilometers of golden sand.

The lake in Rawdaht Al-Sabla is one of the most famous among the natural parks in Riyadh province. The area with white tents surrounded by lush greenery captivates visitors with its unique lifestyle and rare natural beauty.

Every time it rains heavily, the lake is filled with rainwater, giving it a wonderful look.

On the edges of Al-Nafud desert, there are many wonderful places that cannot be described in words. They evoke the enthusiasm of young people and entertain families and children in a serene atmosphere full of beauty and charm.

The lake stretches for about 10 kilometers, but it is seasonal. The water is present in the lake only in the winter when the rains are heavy.
