JEDDAH
— The University of Business and Technology (UBT) will organize its 12th career fair from April 15 to 18 in Hilton Hotel Exhibitions Hall.

UBT Dean of Students Affairs Luay Al-Tayyar said the fair will host 30 national and international companies offering 1,000 jobs to fresh graduates and other job seekers.

“This year we focused on hosting companies in the field of petroleum engineering and human resources development. We do have companies from various fields and sectors as well. This is our 12th year and we had a steady and successful streak for the past 11 years,” said Al-Tayyar.

He added the career fair aims to develop the human resources in the whole of the Kingdom, particularly in the Makkah region.

“The fair will have 30 wings and each wing will host a sector of the market including financial, industrial sector and others. The UBT has always been attentive to the needs of the job market. We bridge the gap between the employer and the potential employees,” said Al-Tayyar.

He also said the fair offers one-on-one career consultancy sessions for high school, university and vocational college students. People who wish to attend the fair may register by visiting the link:
