Prince Sultan launches 14th Taif Rose Festival

TAIF — Under the auspices of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah Province and adviser to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Sultan Bin Salman, president of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) attended the inauguration of the 14th Taif Rose Festival on Thursday at Al-Ruddaf recreation park here, Saudi Press Agency reported.

Prince Sultan toured the flower carpet embellishing the festival this year. Taif Municipality has allocated half a million seedlings of various kinds of flowers and roses to form the flower carpet on an area of 900 sq. meters. The carpet comprised various kinds of flowers.

Speaking to the press, the SCTH chief stressed that Taif, like the rest of the Kingdom’s cities and governorates, is receiving care from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. – SPA
