JUBAIL — The Association of Malayali Professionals in Saudi Arabia (AMPS) conducted Season 10 of Child Fest and Talent Search (CFTS) at Saadi Resort here last week. More than 20 categories were designed for children starting from Kindergarten to Class 10. Fancy dress, story telling, elocution, extempore speech, musical instruments (organ), singing, classical dance (bharatnatyam), folk dance and cinematic dance competition was held.
First place for Fancy Dress 1A was won by Ved and second and third were secured by Aadrika Rejimon and Muhammad Ehan respectively. First place for Fancy Dress 1B was won by Vikram S. Menon, second and third by Swathi Jaydas Patil and Nivika Rao respectively.
In the Story Telling first, second and third place were won by Ramai Rakesh Chogale, Rena Susan Mathew and Darshini Udayakumar respectively. In Elocution competition, first, second and third place were won by Zaina Naved, Devyani Kadam and Aribah Iqubal respectively. In Extempore Speech, first, second and third place finishers were Ahamad Abbas Malik, Ahmad Baasim Husain and Purva Sonavane respectively.
Musical instruments Organ / Piano (Class 6 to 8): First, second and third place were won by Abhiram Anil, Sadhana Devarajan and Rishi Krishna respectively. Musical instruments Organ / Piano (Class 9 to 12): First, second and third place were won by Irene Maria Sibi, Jestin Mathew Bobby and Arjun Anil respectively. Film songs - Vocal - Solo Class 1 to 3: First, second and third place were won by Arnav, Vikram S. Menon and Nandana Manas Menon respectively. Film songs - Vocal – Solo –(Class 4 to 7): First, second and third place were won by Rena Susan Mathew, Kalyani Binu Nair and Ramai Rakesh Chogale respectively. Film songs - Vocal - Solo (Class 8 to 12): First, second and third place were won by Maitrayee Jitendra Lohit, Nivedith Rajesh P V and Irene Maria Sibi respectively.
Film Songs - Vocal - Group (Class 1 to 6): Elaina Mariyam Sujith, Eva Elsa Sujith, Leeba Sara lijan, Moksha Anna Sam and Selma Mariam John were declared as winners. Film Songs - Vocal – (Group Class 7 to 12): Jovan Thomas, Anirudh Nambiar, R.Gowtham and Nidhin Shaji were declared winners. Second place holders in the category were Anamika Anil, Goury Sanal, Krishnapriya M, Parvathi Satheesh, Swathi Mahendran and Swetha Suresh. Third place was won by Aravind Arun Kumar, Arya Arun Kumar, Kirti Nair, Mahath Jacob Sam, Marvel Jiji, Micelle Jiji and K. Sajala Sasikumar.
Classical Dance – Solo Bharatanatyam (Class 5 – 7): First, second and third place were won by Anjana Prasanth, Gayathry jagadeesh and Shriya Suresh respectively. Classical Dance – Solo Bharatanatyam (Class 8 – 10): First, second and third place were won by Hridya Krishna, Micelle Jiji and Swathi Mahendran respectively. Folk Dance (Single) (Class 1 – 4): First, second and third place were won by Mydhili Anil, Shreya Sreekumar and Shreya Mahendra respectively. Folk Dance (Single) (Class 5 – 8): First, second and third won by Anamika Anil, Shriya Suresh and Rena Susan Mathew respectively.
Cinematic Dance (Single) (Class 1 – 4): First, second and third place won by Nandana Manas Menon, Shreya Sreekumar and Mayoogha Shaji respectively. Cinematic Dance (Single) (Class 5 – 8): First, second and third place were won by Pranathi S. Kotian, Aethel Prince Varghese and Devyani Kadam respectively. Cinematic Dance group (Class 4 to 7): Nitya N. Bhat, Risha Pandit, Suditi Jagdish Shetty, Tiya Singh and Rishika Vijay were declared winners. Second place winners were Nazreen Navas, Aan Maria Jibi, Geethika Palora and Ishani Abhishek. Third Place holders were Archana Ajith Kumar, Devendhu Mohandas and Dhamini Balakrishnan.
Cinematic Group Dance (Class 8 to 10): Winners were Arya Krishna, Bhavadharini Shankar, Divya Sridhar, Dhevisri, Pranathi S. Kotian, Prasastha Datla and Shanum Sarfaz. Second place winners were Adithya Unni, Aswathi Sasi, Parvathi Gayathri Aneesh, Snigdha Satheesh and Sudiksha Rajagopal. Third Place holders were Devika Anil, Devika Mohandas, Nandana Punam, Sreena Nandakumar and K. Sajala Sasikumar.
The entire event management was led by the members of AMPS, under three major committees: Public Relations, Technical and Logistics. Shibu Xavier led the PR committee, which handled registration led by Joju Mathew and assisted by Rohith Menon, Biu CR, Ancy Joju, Sima, Nithin , Jyothi and Jayan K Warrier. Sachin, Kamarudeen and Sneha served the creative team. Subair served as Chief Advisor.
Technical Team was led by Sivadas. Entire Timeline was designed by Satheesan, Ramesh Nambiar and Abdul Khader. Four venues were handled by Jacob, Krishnakumar Raghupathy, Usha, Meera, Keerhi, Vasanth, Neeba, Aswathy, Rehna, Nanda Kumar, Shibu, Binitha, Bhavana, Sasikumar, Divya, Anitha, Reena Sudhee, Hareesh, Viji and Gopalankutty. Judging Panel handled by Suresh, Manoj, Seju, Manas and Sabu, result compilation by Oommen and Saira.
Logistics team was handled by Ravi Kumar. Awards and recognition was handled by Sooraj, Sachin and Hareesh. Food and Catering was supported by Baheer Mohammed, Harikumar and Girish. Light and sound coordinated by Satish Chandra. Sudheer served as Chief as advisor. Jayan warrior handled the marketing committee assisted by Anil Thomas, Manjo C Nair, Nooh, Murali and Sivadas.
Closing Ceremony was anchored by Ancy. International Indian School, Jubail, Principal Dr. Syed Hameed inaugurated the valedictory function. AMPS President Murali Krishnan, CFTS Chairman Safare Mohammed and renowned writer PJJ Antony addressed the audience. — SG
