Houthi-fired missile intercepted over Najran

RIYADH - The Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces intercepted a ballistic missile fired by the Iran-backed Houthi militias toward the southern city of Najran.

Col. Turki Al-Malki, spokesman of the Coalition forces, said that the missile, launched from Saada governorate in Yemen, was detected by the forces at 4.24 p.m. on Sunday and splinters of the missile fell in a farm owned by a Saudi national in the residential areas of Najran.

No casualties were reported in the incident, he said.
