RIYADH – The Air Defense Forces of the Coalition Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen intercepted and destroyed two missiles fired toward Najran by Iranian-backed Houthis on Sunday, Coalition spokesman Col. Turki Al-Malki said.

The missile fragments fell in residential areas. However, no casualties, injuries or damages were reported.

Col. Malki said the hostile act by the Iranian-supported Houthi militias continuously proves the Iranian regime’s involvement in supporting the armed Houthi militias with qualitative capabilities in a clear violation of UN Security Council resolutions 2216 and 2231 with the objective of threatening Saudi Arabia’s security as well as regional and global security.
