JEDDAH — More than 350 participants attended Carrier’s annual dealer meetings where Carrier leadership updated customers on the brand’s 2018 strategy and product roadmap for the region. The presentations were followed by an award ceremony with Carrier Saudi Arabia and its dealers celebrating the successes of 2017. Carrier, a world leader in high technology heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) solutions, operates in Saudi Arabia through Arabian Air Conditioning Company and Carrier Saudi Service Company, its joint venture companies with E.A. Juffali & Brothers, and is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
Carrier Saudi Arabia exhibited its high efficiency inverter hi-wall units, which use the environmentally-balanced refrigerant Puron and has a 14.0 energy efficiency ratio (EER), offering excellent energy efficiency ratings, low energy consumption and improved performance. Also showcased was Carrier’s new XPower variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system with key features such as a DC twin rotary compressor, heat exchanger, VRF control, reduced footprint, operating range, installation flexibility and reliability. Carrier’s XPower VRF systems support residential and light commercial needs and are easy to install, use and maintain. The entire system can be run from a central location or monitored remotely and is capable of operating in diverse climatic conditions ranging from -5°C to 52°C ambient.
