RIYADH
— The 53rd Inter-Commercial Dart Team Tournament held at Al-Jafen Sports Center at the Second Industrial Area here continued with exciting highlights during the week. The event is sponsored by the Expat Darters of Saudi Arabia (EDSA), a prime association of dart enthusiasts in the Kingdom.

The Vipers of Emer Parago pulled off a twin kill during the third week showdown to maintain a 4-0 win-loss record. Parago’s team stays on top of the ladder in the latest team standing. The team scored a towering 17-2 win against the Bulleros of Robert Teodoro in the first showdown and repeated the same onslaught to Juan Tapel’s Brand One (17-2) in the second game.

The NBD dart team of Noel Borromeo also took home twin victories in last Friday’s events at the expense of D’Pirates (15-4) in the first game and Bulleros (10-9) in the second game. D’Pirates of Romy Gorembalem and Brand One of Juan Tapel each brought home a 1-1 win-loss record and stayed in contention.

Record setters and best players during the week were Benedict Montanez of D’Pirates who finished a 15 least darts with a Ton 80 and Jess dela Cruz of Brand One with 115 outshot.

Games are played in 01 mode comprising 8 singles with 1 point each, 4 doubles with 2 points each and team match of 4 points, with overall total of 19 points. A team wins if it reaches 10 points ahead of its opponent. Games start at 3:00 p.m. every Friday and darts enthusiasts are welcome to join the group.
