4 die in light plane crash in Tabuk

RIYADH – Four people were killed when a single engine aircraft crashed on Tuesday in Tabuk.

The Aviation Investigations Bureau (AIB) said that it had received information about an aviation accident.

A single engine Maule aircraft with the registration number of HZ-NC7, belonging to the Saudi Wildlife Authority, crashed in the Khunfeh wildlife reserve in Tabuk region. All the four people on board the plane have perished in the accident.

A competent AIB team has been immediately formed to investigate the causes and circumstances that led to the incident, the Saudi Press Agency reported. -- SG/SPA
