9 Filipinos among 40 security suspects arrested

RIYADH
— The Presidency of State Security has arrested 40 people for their suspected involvement in issues affecting state security.

They were arrested from different places during the first seven days of the holy month of Ramadan.

These suspects belonged to seven nationalities who surrendered without any resistance.

According to the presidency sources, 12 of them were apprehended last Tuesday. They included nine Filipinos, two Saudis and one Yemeni national.

The suspects are under investigation to find out their involvement in the Kingdom’s security related cases.
