TO introduce trade professionals, experts, and industrial users to the latest innovations and trends in the piping and industrial valves technology, the German-Saudi Arabian Liaison Office for Economic Affairs (GESALO) held a presentation and press conference of the Valve World Expo Conference & Pump Summit 2018 at the Kempinski Al Othman Hotel Al Khobar last July 24.
Achieving environmental sustainability by promoting the optimal use of water resources is one of the key aspects of the Saudi Vision 2030. Furthermore, the Vision defines ambitious targets for the development of new downstream activities. Finding solutions for world standard utilization of water and liquids in general is therefore not only needed in private households but particularly across various industries.
Oliver Oehms, Delegate of German Industry & Commerce for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen, and Friedrich-Georg Kehrer, Global Portfolio Director of Metals and Flow Technologies at Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, Germany gave insights on valve presentation in a press conference.
Valve World Expo is the world’s leading trade fair for industrial valves, where international experts gather information on the technologies of the future. More than 720 exhibitors joined the 10th international Valve World Expo in 2016 and an even larger number of participations is expected for the 2018 edition in late November.
Furthermore, the Pump Summit is running parallel to Valve World Expo. The exhibition and conference for manufacturers, distributors and operators of pumps, seals and other specific components will feature presentations and selected workshops about pump and sealing applications and solutions in various industries, such as chemical & petrochemical industry, oil & gas, power generation, industry & building services, shipbuilding, water and wastewater, and many more.
