RIYADH — The Ministry of Justice has expanded its mobile notary services to eight other cities across the Kingdom after the first phase of its launch in Riyadh city proved to be successful.

The service is now available in Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Khobar, Dhahran, Buraidah, and Onaizah.

The ministry has provided the mobile notarial service free of charge to clients unable to visit notary offices, making the service come to their doorsteps.

More than 13,500 notarizations have been performed since the launch of the mobile service and beneficiaries included 65 hospitals and nursing homes.

The ministry has also provided the service to the troops posted on the southern border in recognition of their role in protecting the country.

"The mobile notarial service can be requested through one of three channels: a dedicated mobile app, a unified phone number, and an e-mail address. The notary will immediately visit the applicant to execute the service,” the ministry explained.

“This initiative aims mainly at enabling people who are limited with movement, like inmates and inpatients, to get the notarizations they need at times that can be critical for them. This timely service can protect their rights,” the ministry said.

The service can be directly requested through the dedicated mobile app (MNP), the phone number 920025888, and the e-mail address MNP@MOJ.GOV.SA.
