Jeddah — The General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection (GAMEP) expects thundershowers on the highlands extending to coastal areas until Sunday. Hailstorms are expected to accompany the moderate to heavy thundershowers in Jazan, Assir, Al-Baha, Taif, Makkah city and its surrounding areas, Madinah, Tabuk.

Surface winds kicking up dust will lower visibility.

The environmental authority urged people to take precaution in view of the turbulent weather.

It advised them to follow daily weather reports and warning issued by GAMEP.
