RIYADH —
The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has established seven channels for the subscribers to join its program of easy payment (Tayseer) of the bills or to voluntarily exit the program.

The company said it has set up five channels for the subscribers to join the Tayseer and two for those wishing to rejoin after exiting.

It said it had received a large number of requests from those who left the program to rejoin after they had come to realize the benefits of the system to pay the bills.

The company said any subscriber can quit the program via its website is se.com.sa or though the application on the mobile phones ALKAHRABA or the toll-free No. 920001100.

The subscriber may also do this through sending his/her account number to its special account on the Twitter titled "caring for subscribers".

"The subscribers can also quit the program via text messages to the company," it said.

The company said any subscriber who wants to rejoin after quitting could do this through two main channels: the website or via a telephone call to the toll-free number.

It said it had provided this services to the subscribers wishing to rejoin the program after receiving requests from a large number of them to go back to the service.

"The subscribers insisted on rejoining after coming to know the privileges of the program which will enable them to easily settle their bills," it said.

The company said both the services of joining the program or exiting from it are done free of charge.

"There will not be any cost for joining or quitting," it said.

The company said the aim of the Tayseer program is to facilitate payments for the subscribers whose electricity bill ranges between SR300-SR3,000 through the payment of the least minimum value.

"The subscribers can opt to quit but in this case they will have to pay the entire value of the bill," it said.
