September 15, 2018

United Nations — Saudi Arabia will continue working with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to achieve its 2023 strategic program, First Secretary of the Saudi Arabian mission to the United Nations Muhammad Al-Qadi has said.

The UNICEF program is based on four main priorities, including early childhood development and child protection in cooperation with competent authorities in the Kingdom and the region, commitments and resources for the benefit of children and to serve and achieve the desired objectives of these programs.

Qadi said the Kingdom in cooperation with UNICEF has implemented many programs to protect children and youth to ensure their social, humanitarian, educational rights and to provide health and educational services to them without distinction or discrimination.

He said the Kingdom will continue to provide everything that helps UNICEF carry out its work and to use all its potential to ensure that it provides its services in the Kingdom and the GCC region. — Agencies
