In response to an invitation from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, President of Djibouti Ismaïl Omar Guelleh and President of Eritrea Isaias Afwerki held a historic meeting in Jeddah after a hiatus of 10 years of alienation. The meeting was held in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir and Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Dr. Essam Bin Saad Bin Said. During the meeting, Guelleh and Afwerki thanked King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for opening a new page of warm relations between the two countries, saying that this signifies the Kingdom’s keenness and interest in peace and stability in the region. -SPA
