On the occasion of the 88th National Day of Saudi Arabia, Saudis will not only celebrate their glorious history, but will have their eyes on the bright future ahead.

The Kingdom’s youth see that the new leadership of the country has ushered in a new era of change. In the last 3 years, a massive series of reforms have occurred since the accession of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to power in the Kingdom. The country is witnessing a political movement, economic and social mobility, such that young people and executive leaders in all areas are working relentlessly towards pushing their nation to a greater future. Saudi Arabia has emerged with a modern strategy in dealing with economic crises and political emergencies.

Saudi Arabia’s enormous ability to mobilize and forge coalitions in record time is attributed to the dynamics of the policy of the leader of the country, King Salman, and his decision-making. You also can’t overlook the effectiveness of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, and his activity in accelerating the pace of achievement such that he has become one of the most important young faces in the global policy map.

As an inspiration to many young Saudis, Crown Prince Muhammad was not only the first choice, but the right man in the right place at the right time. As well as the Vision 2030, is not just a will but a challenge to the self and everyone in the present and for the future. The Crown Prince, also known as MBS, has always demonstrated his ability to overcome difficulties when the bell rings.

Prince Muhammad also believes that the promotion of transparency has become an essential requirement for tomorrow, which he said in a television interview that “providing information to citizens, the private sector and the world is crucial to be part of the debate and dialogue within their homeland, transparency is required because it is a solid supporter of the government’s decisions and actions.”

Vision 2030 explains the transparency approach adopted by the Saudi government by not compromising and tolerating corruption at all levels and taking advantage of global best practices to achieve the highest levels of transparency and good governance in all sectors. This will include taking everything possible to implement high standards of accountability through declaration of objectives, plans, and indicators of performance measurement, expansion of electronic services and improvement of governance standards.

The broad range plan on social and economic change was not just a quick fix but was a severe raise up in the country towards development and expansion. We can proudly say now that a new chapter has been written in the history of the Kingdom, and we are living our dream to build a “new Saudi” metaphorically, that can be the answer to anyone who’s surprised why we are celebrating our future on the occasion of our National Day.

We have now on a clear path of what the country wants to achieve in the future.
