THE Department of Education in Al-Zulfi Governorate launched the second version of Al-Zulfi “Fakhr” Award for Distinguished Teachers with its new prizes that realize the visions of those aspiring to excellence and reinforce the motivation for honest competition among teachers. This was under the supervision of Director of Education in Al-Zulfi Mohammed Abdullah Al Tariki, Assistant Director for Girls› Education Affairs Ms. Noura Al Farhoud and the Director of Educational Supervision Ms. Munira Al-Buqami.

The Director of Education in Al-Zulfi Mohammed Abdullah Al Tariki announced the increase of the number of the award recipients this year to year recipients thanks to the generous support of the award sponsor Abdullatif Mohammed Al-Abdullatif, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Al-Zulfi and Chairman of Sinan International Trading Corporation.

From her end, Director of Educational Supervision Ms. Munira Al-Buqami confirmed that the Award was started to motivate the educational field towards distinguished performance, encourage exemplar practices, honor the field in both scientific and educational aspects, and spread the culture of singularity and working to master the practice. Al-Buqami said that the award’s vision “is a distinguished teacher the country can be proud of”.

Abdullatif Mohammed Al-Abdullatif, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Al-Zulfi and Chairman of Sinan International Trading, emphasized on the importance of motivating and encouraging the targeted categories by the award. — SG
