JEDDAH — Dauha Al Uloom International School, Jeddah celebrated the 88th Saudi National Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. Teachers and officials of the school joined students in the celebrations, marked by wide variety of programs. The entire school premises were draped in green color to commemorate the true spirit of nationalism. Students and staff were dressed in green and white, the colors of the festive day.
At the Boys’ Section, Fahad Salem Al Bukmi, the academic in charge, welcomed the gathering. An array of colorful programs, staged by students under the supervision and guidance of teachers, enthralled the audience.
The events at the Girls’ Section were presided over by Hala Ahmed Othman Al Tayyar, director of the school, and Nasima Khan, academic in-charge. Diverse cultural programs, presented by the little budding stars, captivated the gathering. Quiz competitions were conducted for both lower and higher grade students based on the presentation shown to the students pertaining to history, geography and new developments of Saudi Arabia.
The exceptional programs organized by the teachers not only made the kids enthusiastic and fascinated but also helped them boosting their general knowledge about Saudi Arabia.
It was a day of joy and camaraderie for both students and staff at Dauha Al Uloom as all the programs were remarkable and enlightening. The school has been celebrating the Saudi National Day every year, featuring distinctive programs and events that give students a golden opportunity to have an insight into the Kingdom’s rich culture, heritage and traditions.
