RIYADH — Radek Vondracek, president of the Chamber of Deputies of Czech Republic’s parliament, arrived in Riyadh on an official visit to Saudi Arabia accompanied by an important delegation.

Vondracek met with President of the Shoura Council Abdullah Al-Sheikh and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political and Economic Affairs Adel Merdad. They held friendly discussions on topics of interest to the two friendly countries and expressed interest in opening cooperation in all fields and sectors.

Vondracek then visited King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, where he witnessed presentations of the latest technological facilities. He praised the excellent hospitality, friendly talks and positive spirit he witnessed during the visit.

He said he looked forward to having excellent relations between the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia, which is “witnessing a new and exciting period and is launching an ambitious futuristic vision”. — SG
