The Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) launched its new identity and strategy for the coming period in Riyadh on Sunday.

MODON is overseeing 35 industrial cities under development in various parts of the Kingdom, as well as «MODON Oases” in Al Ahsa, Jeddah, Qassim, Al Jouf and Yanbu to be the industry leader in promising areas.

“The existing industrial cities include more than 3,000 productive factories, with about 400,000 employees, as well as over 6,000 industrial, service and logistics contracts. He said the new strategy and identity represents an important step and initiative towards the enhancement of its responsibility as one of the national industry’s pillars of empowerment and as a supporter of the state’s continuous plans to improve the industrial sector and to diversify national income resources, enabling the Kingdom to provide employment opportunities for young Saudis and more services and products in accordance with a new vision that calls for innovative solutions and smoother transactions to meet the requirements of the industrial sector and achieve the desired objectives for its development and efficiently contribute to the National Transform Program 2020 and the realization of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

their keenness for the local manufacturing sector to lead Saudi industry to prosperity,” said Al-Falih.

He further said the great efforts exerted by MODON, along with various other government entities in recent years, have contributed significantly to the remarkable demand the Kingdom is witnessing today in industrial investment. The minister pointed out MODON’s success in marketing, highlighting the advantages and incentives that characterize its industrial cities, which lead to attracting leading global companies in the industrial field, resulting in international investments that add value to the Saudi market, as well as making significant progress in the field of internal partnerships. To date, more than SR500 billion has been invested in 6,271 industrial, services and logistics contracts.

Eng. Khalid bin Mohammad Al-Salim, General Director of MODON, stressed that the new identity represents all the values that MODON aspires to achieve and its constant efforts to provide the best and latest services and develop the existing ones, supporting a new advanced phase of working at the service of MODON partners and realizing their ambitions.

Al-Salim noted: “Saudi Arabia is witnessing rapid developmental changes in various sectors, especially in economic aspects, based on its orientation to implement the objectives of the National Transition Program 2020 and realizing Vision 2030, which is part of our government’s efforts led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz to achieve prosperity, stability and sustainability, chart clear paths for comprehensive development and raise the efficiency of the national economy by sponsoring, providing and facilitating everything that will advance the industrial sector and the creation of favorable conditions for its growth.”
