King calls Erdogan, thanks him for forming joint investigation team

RIYADH
– Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman telephoned on Sunday night Turkish President Recep Erdogan expressing thanks to the Turkish President for welcoming the Kingdom’s proposal to form a joint working team to investigate the disappearance of Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoggi, Saudi Press Agency said Sunday night.

The King expressed the Kingdom’s keenness to maintain good relations with Turkey.

None will be able to undermine these solid ties, God willing, the King added.

The Turkish President stressed that he values the distinctive, close and solid historic brotherly ties between the two countries and peoples and is keen to strengthen and develop them. – SPA
