— More and more countries are coming out in support of the Kingdom, rejecting the malicious media campaign against Saudi Arabia with regard to the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Istanbul.

A statement issued by the Kuwaiti Cabinet on Monday said Kuwait rejects all the accusations and unlawful campaigns targeting Saudi Arabia.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh said it was important to wait for the results of investigations.

The Center for Islamic Call for Latin America and the Caribbean expressed its condemnation of the campaign against Saudi Arabia.

“The center has followed the blunt campaign against Saudi Arabia in a cheap attempt to discredit its reputation, spread rumors and jump to conclusions based on no facts,” the head of the Center for Islamic Call for Latin America and the Caribbean Ahmed Bin Ali Al-Saifi said in a press release.

“We strongly denounce this campaign and we stand with Saudi Arabia in the face of these rumors and campaigns targeting it,” he said, rejecting the threat of imposition of sanctions on Saudi Arabia or directing threats against it.

In Cairo, spokesman of Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Hafez warned against exploiting this issue politically against Saudi Arabia on arbitrary charges.

He affirmed Egypt’s support for the Kingdom in its efforts and positions to deal with this event.

The Union of the Comoros also affirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia against those who seek to undermine its policy, position, and regional and international status.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Comoros said the government of the Comoros is following with concern the repercussions of the disappearance of Khashoggi in Turkey and frenzied media campaigns.

It stressed the need to uncover the truth through a comprehensive and transparent investigation.
