Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH —
The Directorate General of Passports (Jawazat) is calling on all expatriates, who have not registered their biometrics, to visit Jawazat offices as soon as possible and get their fingerprints registered in its electronic system, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Monday.

They should also bring their dependents, who are over six years of age, with them.

The aim is to avoid preventing them from availing of the various Jawazat services.

The Directorate stressed that it will stop the registers of expatriates who have not registered their biometrics in the Jawazat electronic system.

They will not be able to carry out any procedures or transactions in the Jawazat computer system if their fingerprints are not registered.

The directorate said it has specified several locations in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom to register fingerprints.

These locations have been provided with the required equipment, machinery and qualified staff.

For further information on locations for registering fingerprints, expatriates can visit the Jawazat website www.gdp.gov.sa

The Directorate General of Passports has also assigned an email (gdp.gov.sa992) to receive all queries and suggestions.
