Although several massaging and social media platforms have been banned or have closed its operations, WhatsApp, the famous messenger app with around 1.5 billion users, has shone this year in the messenger world.

The company has launched several entertaining features that has made chatting more fun, and are still planning to present more. Saudi Gazette is putting together some of the latest features that WhatsApp has provided to its customers in 2018.

The stickers

This is the latest feature that has been introduced by the company to the public and it is available in almost all the countries. The old fans of the MSN messenger’s stickers were excited to utilize this feature since it is making communication more engaging.

All what you need to do is to update the application, download some of the stickers or use the available ones. GIF files also exist in this feature. The stickers are considered to be much fun than the Emoji that people were sending through WhatsApp for a long time.

Video calls

This feature cannot be utilized in all the countries including, KSA, unless the person downloads a VPN. WhatsApp allows up to four people to be in a group video call. While the person that is video calling his or her friend can press on a small icon that is visible on the top right corner of the screen and add more people. The application users can also have one to one video call.

Deleting Messages

People say that once the word is out, you cannot retrieve it, but now with all these technologies you can. 'Delete for everyone' option gives the messenger’s users a chance to delete delivered message, picture, or video on the receiver's smartphone.

Pictures Appearance

As the WhatsApp user can read the messages in the notification tab; now, the photos that people send to you can also appear in the notification tab as a small icon.
